Yackee Potempa & Smalley Asset Management was founded as Yackee & Potempa LLC in 2022, by S. L. Yackee and Quentin C. Potempa and headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Yackee & Potempa LLC was envisioned as a private venture where Mr. Yackee and Mr. Potempa could pool their capital and resources to capitalize on what they had identified as unusual opportunities in financial markets. In 2024, Payton E. Smalley joined the firm, which then underwent restructuring, was renamed, and ultimately moved to engage in the business of providing investment advisory services to retail and corporate clients rather than simply managing the funds of Mr. Yackee, Mr. Potempa, or Mr. Smalley. The firm continues operations today under this model as a Registered Investment Advisory (or RIA) firm. We are proud to fulfill our obligations as fiduciaries and trusted advisors to our clients.
